The purpose of the Lake Powell Yacht Club is to serve the interest of boat owners and water recreational enthusiasts, to defend such owners and recreational enthusiasts against discriminatory legislation and burdensome taxation, to prevent the pollution of Lake Powell and neighboring recreational facilities, to stimulate a greater interest in boating among all the citizens in the area and those attracted to the area served by the Club, to promote better boating and water safety, to develop a fraternal spirit among local outdoor enthusiasts, to provide a medium for the exchange of boating information……AND, we love Lake Powell and want it preserved and protected from anyone or any organization whose mission is to drain Lake Powell, or to alter its elevation, or the social, environmental, recreational or economics of Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
To assist with the above mentioned purpose and goals, please include me/us as members in the Lake Powell Yacht Club.

I understand I must observe safe boating regulations and comply with the bylaws, rules and regulations of the Club. I further agree that my membership in said Club would be subject to all bylaws, rules and regulations now in force and those which may be legally adopted. And, for infraction thereof, the Officers and Board of Directors may terminate such membership.
I further understand for my annual membership dues or lifetime membership dues, I am entitled to receive a copy of the newsletter, representation with the National Park Service and the concessionaire, use of the Club storage yard and houseboats for nominal fees, a discount for my BOAT/US membership, and I am entitled to bring family, friends and guests to social functions.
